While I grew up listening to mostly hair metal and blues, I got into punk while stationed in Germany. Social D was not exactly the heaviest of punk bands – maybe that’s what made them accessible to those of us who hadn’t heard much of the genre.
Coming home in 1991 I would bring this new (to me) music with me, and picked up Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell some time at college in 1992. It got a lot of airplay at parties / the bars for years to come.
But its sat in with the rest of my tapes for several years. So it was time for it to go.
